Neubau, Berlin
Tucked away in a private backyard, a new residential building is taking shape in Berlin Kreuzberg, as an extension to the wider, mainly residential development, Lausitzer Quartier, that in majority consists of protected old buildings. Conceived in dialogue with the rougher surrounding architecture, the interior design and configuration speaks through a toned-down color palette in shades of white and grey, accentuated with dark and contrasting elements in metal and wood.
The concept is to be realized on 936m² for 11 new build apartments. The building itself is a two minute walk away from Paul-Lincke-Ufer. Although the central location in Kreuzberg would suggest otherwise, the immediate living environment in the backyard of the Quartier is very quiet and private.
As part of the wider ensemble development of four building plots, the concept for this new residential building has been developed in close correspondence with the neighboring fields to ensure a coherent architectural and product identity. In collaboration with the developer and the appointed architects, MVP also supported the project with comprehensive sales and marketing preparation, creating a clear positioning and communication framework to address prospective buyers and stakeholders effectively.
